Best of Wedding Awards Presented by Charlotte Wedding Magazine

BELMONT, N.C. – Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden was recently announced as the Best Overall and Best Outdoor wedding venue in the Best of Wedding Awards presented by Charlotte Wedding Magazine.

“We are so excited to have won this award and be recognized by the region’s wedding industry. Our team continually works to make Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden the best wedding venue in the Charlotte region,” said the Garden’s Director of Events and Operations, Isabella Amorim-Kuhner. “Not only do we offer a gorgeous, world-class botanical garden and exquisite facilities, but the Garden’s Event Staff offer unparalleled customer service. We know we are an incredible outdoor venue, but we are especially honored to have won the Best Overall award.”

The Best of Wedding Awards, presented by Charlotte Wedding magazine, are the results of a survey sent to more than 900 Charlotte-area wedding professionals, who were asked “who would you use if you were getting married?” Charlotte Wedding is celebrating the awards and winners at the Charlotte City Club on January 29.

The Garden conducts nearly 100 weddings each year. It works in conjunction with its exclusive catering partner Best Impressions Caterers and a host of preferred vendors that offer a wide range of services.

Located within 380 acres on the banks of Lake Wylie, the Garden offers spectacular gardens, sparkling fountains, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids, an Italianate-styled Visitor Pavilion and a wedding-inspired White Garden that offers white blooms or foliage every season of the year. In addition, the Garden has offers a wide-variety of pricing options for potential brides; from modest elopement packages to full-garden rentals.

The Garden is offering all future brides free admission during the upcoming Wedding Showcase, Feb. 16, noon to 4 p.m. This bridal trade show will give brides a chance to sample food, see the newest trends in wedding attire, discuss floral arrangements and book services for their wedding. In addition, it will feature some of the area’s best bridal industry vendors – many that recently won Best of Weddings Awards too.

“Our Wedding Showcase features the region’s top wedding vendors. If brides are looking for the best wedding concepts and services, this is their perfect chance,” said Amorim-Kuhner.
